A couple in Florida stacked their patio furniture on their lawn so they could power-wash their house . . . and the garbage collector came and took it all.  They got the local news involved, and the company is reimbursing them.

One person’s trash is another person’s treasure . . . and apparently it works the other way too.

A couple in Florida recently stacked their patio furniture and window screens out on their front lawn, because they were power-washing their house.  But while they were in the back, the garbage collector came . . . and trashed everything.

The couple freaked out when they saw it was all gone . . . and a neighbor’s security camera showed that the furniture was taken by the garbage collector.

The couple reached out to the company . . . but they didn’t have much luck until they got the local news involved.  It sounds like the items weren’t salvageable, but they ARE going to reimburse them.

The couple claims it was “perfectly good furniture,” but if it was mistaken for garbage . . . they’re probably better off with the reimbursement check anyway.

(There’s a local news report at WFLA.com.  For what it’s worth, their front lawn is pretty small . . . so the furniture probably wasn’t far from the curb.)
