If you’re hiking through Joshua Tree in Southern California this week, and you’re craving something cheesy . . . THIS is your ticket.

For some reason, Cheez-It has opened a pop-up gas station in the area . . . but instead of pumping gas, the pumps will spray bags of Cheez-Its through your car window . . . for FREE.  (???)  (They’re calling it Cheez-It Stop.)

It’s only open now through Sunday.

There’s also merch for sale, which is being described as “absurdly cheesy mementos” and “nostalgic Cheez-It Stop collectibles.”  And of course there are boxes of Cheez-Its, including special flavors that AREN’T in stores.

If you’re in the area, the pop-up is at 61943 Twentynine Palms Highway, in Joshua Tree.  It’s a 128-mile drive from L.A. . . . 168 miles from San Diego . . . or an easy 40 miles from the Palm Springs Airport.
