HIGHLIGHTS:  An annual study ranked the biggest cities in the U.S. from the healthiest to the least healthy.  The healthiest are San Francisco and Honolulu . . . and the least healthy are Brownsville, Texas and Gulfport, Mississippi.

WalletHub just released its annual report, where they rank 182 of the biggest cities in the U.S. from the healthiest to the least healthy.

The rankings are based on 41 factors including:  Overall physical health . . . mental health . . . healthcare costs and quality . . . nutrition, including fruit and vegetable consumption . . . fitness levels . . . and parks, trails, and bike paths.

They say the 10 healthiest cities in the U.S. are:  San Francisco . . . Honolulu . . . Seattle . . . San Diego . . . Washington, D.C. . . . Portland, Oregon . . . Denver . . . Salt Lake City . . . Scottsdale, Arizona . . . and Irvine, California.

And the five LEAST healthy are:  Brownsville, Texas . . . Gulfport, Mississippi . . . Laredo, Texas . . . Columbus, Georgia . . . and Shreveport, Louisiana.  The least healthy major cities are:  Detroit and Memphis.
